This is the first time that such gathering event was held in Pangkalan Bun, a city in Central Kalimantan. Considered as a potential city for future palm oil plantation and its proximity to PT Daya Kobelco branch in Sampit, the event was held in Pangkalan Bun whereby customers as far as Palangkaraya and Sampit were invited. The main focus for this event was, among others, to build a positive Brand Image among the contractors as well as plantation owners. To show that Kobelco not only exists in Central Kalimantan but to convey the message that Kobelco is committed to better serve the community.
The event begun with an opening speech by Mr. Orimoto, President Director of PT Daya Kobelco CMI followed by an introduction of the management staff and Sampit Branch personnel after which our own Operation Manager, Mr. Darian Djohan presented a brief history of Daya Kobelco, Kobe Steel as the parent company and including its affiliation with FIAT Group.
