1.1. Spare Parts and Component Support
Kobelco genuine parts are readily available from PT. Daya Kobelco Construction
Machinery Indonesia (DKCMI)’s Parts Center in Jakarta and its 18 branches located
throughout Indonesia. In Jakarta Parts Center we maintain more than 5000 lines item
as an initial stock which is regularly distributed to all Branches based on existing
Kobelco machines population of each Branch.

1.2. Parts Exchange Programme
To help avoid costly downtime – for benefit to our customers – we can quickly replace major components such as Engine Assy,
Pumps, etc from our Parts Exchange Component stock. This programme saves waiting for repair time and is more economical than
installing new parts.
We are also prepared to increase our component exchange inventory at customer’s specific request with assurances that the additional
component will be continually utilized under an agreed planned maintenance programme. All these exchange components are covered under
warranty as new parts.

1.4. Parts Support from Kobelco International(S) Co.,PTE. LTD in Singapore and Kobelco main parts center in Okubo – Japan
Support from Kobelco International (S) Co., PTE. LTD in Singapore includes readily available of 60,000 lines item of parts inventory
to support Kobelco dealers within South East Asia. Meanwhile, Kobelco main parts center is in Okubo – Japan which carries more than
125,000 line items in stock in a 25,000 m2 managed with automatic 300m conveyor that enables us to quickly and afficiently respond
to parts orders as they come in.

1.5. Field Service
Our Branch Service Departments provide an On-Site service repair jobs and trouble shooting. All necessary portable
diagnostic instrumentation and all Kobelco standard service tooling are available to all the highly skilled and trained
mechanics. They are also equipped with stand-by 4WD Cars to be ready to quickly respond customer requests.

1.6. Preventive Maintenance Support
Machine Inspection Programme
This inspection involves a thorough checking of critical indicators of wears or damages. This service requires a portable diagnostic instruments
from which customers will receive a complete written report together with its photos taken at the time the inspection was performed.
The report includes recommendation of any corrective action, repairs, or other services which may be necessary.
Repairs can be carried out on site or at our workshop whichever is more appropriate
Preventive Maintenance Contract
PT Daya Kobelco Construction Machinery Indonesia can undertake partial or total responsibility for preventive maintenance of machines supplied by us.
This PM Contract covers the supply of:
- Consumable Parts
Discounted consumable parts required for PM Contract
- Lubricant
The use of Kobelco Oil and Grease will help prolong component life. This includes discounted lubricant price
- Oil Analysis
It helps detect abnormal wear of parts at early stage
- Labor Cost
Fixed and discounted labor charge of each regular inspection service in accordance with Operation & Maintenance Manual
Lubricant
We also carry inventory of Lubricant which meets to Kobelco standard technical specification. This includes Engine Oil and Hydraulic Oil.

2. AFTER SALES SERVICE |
2.1. Commissioning Service
DKCMI provides commissioning service once the machine is on site to ensure everything is running in order and all necessary lubricant
compartment are filled to the correct level. DKCMI also gives instruction of the proper use of machine safety procedures, controls,
and advises the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance required in accordance with the factory standard Operation and Maintenance Manual.
2.2. Periodic Service
A revisit will be carried out by DKCMI technician at 250 hours, 1000 hours, 2000 hours after commissioning of the machine making sure it
is operating correctly and that no faults have been developed in the initial period of usage. A Revisit Form will be submitted to customer.
2.3. Customer Training
DKCMI will provide training for customer Operators and Maintenance Crew free off charge commencing when the new unit/s are ready on site.
This training can be conducted either at the customer site, or in group of customers conducted at our Training Centre at Cibitung-Jakarta.
We do this training in the class room and by practical training direct to the machine detailing as follow:
In Class Room:
- Daily Maintenance
- Starting and Stopping Procedure
- Operating Technique
- Safety Procedure
In The Machine:
- Daily Maintenance Points, etc
On Site:
- Operating practice on machine
- Digging, loading, dumping, traveling
- DKCMI will use slides, video, movies to enable all participants familiar and fully understand with the machine.
